Northridge Ice Cream Inc. was established in 1999 by Felipe Santoyo Sr., Maria Santoyo, and their two sons Victor and Felipe Jr. Felipe Santoyo Sr. first began his ice cream business when he purchased an old post-office truck which was then converted into an ice cream truck. Naming his first ice cream truck after the family name “Santoyo Ice Cream.” Felipe Sr. had a dream: to provide quality ice cream, candy and other desserts to the San Fernando Valley streets. Between being a family man and working a 2nd job, he was able to find time to drive the ice cream truck around and pursue his dream.
